Eli Mizrahi

From Efrat

My name is Eli Mizrachi and I am 59 years old. I have four children and three grandchildren. I participated in the liberation of Jerusalem. I've been a citizen of Efrat since 1992. My career as social and public entrepreneur began in 1985, when I was involved in the establishment of a synagogue and a State Religious School in Gilo.

Previously,I was an electrical contractor managing large prjects such as the Tnuva complex in Jerusalem and the Chamei Ein Gedi (Ein Gedi Spa). I had dozens of people working for me.

Since 1997, I accepted upon myself the running of the Religious Council in Efrat. Despite the heavy budgetary cuts, which caused difficulties in all systems of public religious services in Israel, I didn't hesitate to undertake this major project. To my delight, I have been running the Religious Council successfully for the past 7 years, not unlike the many other projects I managed in the past.
